Are you Dave Gorman? by Dave Gorman and Danny Wallace.
I think the title is pretty self explanatory really, and fairly absurd, yet this is till a great read! It's been out for sometime now but i was only turned on to the work of Danny Wallace a few years back with Yes Man, which you may recognise in the form of a film (the book is much better of course). I then moved onto Join Me which was equally as ridiculous and hilarious and finally this book which includes Dave Gorman as writer.
The basics; Dave and Danny get drunk, Dave bets Danny he can find more people with the name Dave Gorman. They embark upon an adventure that spans over months and months taking them all over the world to meet Dave Gormans. I cant do it justice by a brief synopsis, you have to read it yourself and become part of their epic adventure. The main thing for me is the on-page banter they seem to sculpt and also the writing style, particularly Danny Wallace who i really enjoy reading. If you have a sense of humour and like a good read then check this out or any of Danny Wallace's other material for that matter!
